Book review: An Unsuitable Boy

Overall rating: 3/5

A quick, breezy weekend read for anyone who is a fan of Bollywood movies and the celebrity Karan Johar. He takes the readers through how his career in the film industry started about through to his best movies and the making of it followed by some of his strong and long-standing friendships. He also briefly talks about his love life and the fall out with certain stars. He also gives a brave account of all his insecurities growing up. Being an ardent fan of Shah Rukh Khan and his movies, my favourite chapters were in which he narrates the friendship and making of those movies.

This autobiography is a simple and honest memoir of Karan Johar. Most Bollywood fans would have by now, had a gist of the book through all the pinkvillas of the world. Overall an interesting read!
