Eat out review: Barbeque Nation

The first restaurant chain to introduce the concept of live grill or over the top grill in India has landed in the UAE! Barbeque Nation serves amazing starters and yummilicious desserts and of course the main course. Before I go on to rave about the delicious food served, let me start with a warning – book your table a day in advance.

Starters : The dine in experience starts off with a briefing session about the starters and the concept of live grill. One you are done with the starters you’ll have bend a flag placed on your table indicating that you’ve had your fill and that you are off to get some salads and then main course. Unlimited prawns, juicy chicken tikka, paneer grilled, mushrooms and mushy fish diced will be served again and again.

Main course: Live cooking stations for chicken, egg or vegetarian rolls with custom toppings as you’d like and an amazing range of North Indian dishes await you at the counter. From three varieties of Dal – Dal makhani, Dal Panch ratna and Dal arhar Tadka to delicious chicken biriyani, the options are simply delectable!

Desserts: This was the most exciting part of the entire meal. Although the range of desserts weren’t as many as the starters and main course, whatever they had was mouth-watering! Apart from the regulars like pudding and mouse, flavoured Kulfi was my favorite. I tried their speciality ‘Pan’ Kulfi aka Fake red lips Kulfi and it was worth the wait.

Cost: AED 75 per buffet
