Having been here a couple of times, Tarboush has now become my second most favorite weekend eat out for Arabic food. Although, the first time a friend suggested this place, I wasn’t quite sure and had mixed feelings because of the reviews on zomato. They are extreme, either a 1 or a 4.5!
The ambience : I would rate it a 2.5. Although, they have indoor and outdoor seating area that are well kept, the ambience is just average. They have huge cats waiting for their meal outdoors – you’ll spot them mostly under your table, and they have flies if you choose to settle indoors.
The service: I would rate the service a 3.5. They were willing to stay by your side and explain the dishes quite patiently. Also, the service was pretty quick and well done.
The food: I would rate it 4 stars. From the enormous shawarma to Succulent sheesh tawook to the hot bread served along side garlic paste, everything was simply delicious! Vegetarians don’t worry – they have options like falafel sandwich and tabouleh too. The tender chicken pieces that’s an explosion of Arabic flavours, was my favorite.
Must try: If you are a coffee lover like me,Turkish coffee is a must have 😍 and I loved their Shawarma plate which is humongous! Oh! And don’t forget to make space for their hot bread and garlic paste (you’ll loose count of)
