Summer has already hit the region, but cycling is never a bad idea for two reasons. One, enjoy the sunrise or sunset in a desert. The view is just magnificent. Two, fun way to get healthy on a traffic free road (a very rare site in Dubai).
You can easily rent a cycle at the Trek bike rentals for approximately AED 50 an hour and enjoy a ride on the allocated cycling tracks which extends around 50kms.
During the summer days, the rush hours for cycling usually are 5am and 7am followed by evening 7pm onwards. The fun is all about the isolated area where you can drive stress free on straight stretches, turns and twists. Al Qudra is also a popular barbeque zone for many families next to the man-made lake.
Will this be on your weekend to-do list? Well, this is tried and recommended!
