Eat out pick of the week: Al Arz automatic bakery

Most of us would have noticed this name on lazy evening khuboos packages and some of us would have noticed on way your back home, while stuck in traffic. Al Arz Automatic bakery is a Wonderland of Arabic food. For us, it was one of those late evenings when we were super hungry and most restaurants around had their gates closed.

After a quick walk around the store amongst the array of pickles, cheese and sweets to choose from, we settled down in one of the corner seats at the restaurant. We opted for a plate of Shawarma (10 slices – filling for 2), a plate of Sheesh tawook, a vegetarian pizza and Falafel sandwich. Yeah too much to hog! While we waited for the food to be served, we had garlic paste and hot khuboos on our table. We ate and ate and ate and then decided to have it all packed. Delicious. Filling. And totally recommended!
