My favourite eat outs in Al Nahda

Food and me are just made for each other! And being a foodie that I am, I have tried out pretty much all the restaurants in the locality that I live in. Hence, the recommendations! So, here are my favourite eat outs in Al Nahda.

Al Arz automatic bakery

If you love Lebanese food like me and you reside in Al Nahda, look no further for the best place to eat out – get to Al Arz automatic bakery. Be it grilled or baked, it’s all available here and the key word being fresh! Great ambience, huge place with great seating arrangements and tempting food.

Habet lulu

This is yet another Lebanese eat out which has newly opened up this locality. I was deeply, madly and solely in love with their hummus Shawarma. Simple yet welcoming interiors that will remind you of a vintage flavour mixed in modern look out. Oh and I love, love, love their Pizza’s that are served with extra doses of cheese.

Salkara Restaurant

Now that we have had a look at the Arabic recommendations, here’s a typical South Indian place that you’ll love. Payyoli kozhi porichathu and kanthari fish are my all time favourites of this restaurant. Salkara is quite a popular restaurant chain in this region. Although the ambience is not that great, the food is worth a mention.

Usthad Restuarant

If you line up at around 7pm on a Friday, you’ll probably get a slot at 8pm. The wait is long but worth the food. If you are a soup fan, try out their hot n sour chicken followed by chicken chathacharachathu and soya bean varatharachathu. Oh, and did we miss out that last bit? A Cutting chai – from the in-house tea store!
