Eat, Sleep and repeat

So how was your weekend? Well, mine was all about eating, sleeping and a some family time. This weekend especially was a yummy one! Totally!

Well, we started off at 11.00am like most of you guys after the ‘it’s weekend, let me sleep some more’ session. We then skipped the breakfast to have a filling brunch with my family. So we started off with no clue where should we settle down to. A long drive may be … Well after a rather long drive, we decided to take a turn back and settle down for some delicious seafood. The first name that came to our mind was Bu Qtair restaurant in Jumeirah. If you haven’t been here, you haven’t tasted the best seafood in Dubai yet. Well, trust me on this! We stopped by the beach for a bit and as most Indians would do we also clicked few selfies and a couple of family snaps, chit chat and well  we dipped our feet in water too 😛 The truth is we weren’t planned for a beach trip and if we were, we would have stopped by Jumeirah Beach Park for a more quieter beach experience. We then moved to the Bu Qtair Restaurant which was about 5 minutes drive from there.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Budget: AED 200 for a family of 4

Location: Jumeirah Beach, Dubai

Feedback: Try asking for a menu, they’ll recite all the dishes available to you but won’t have a printed menu to give though. The restaurant we are talking about is not the little cafeteria kind which opens from 6.00pm (Well they are famous). This place is tight next to the fishermans accomodation.

You walk in and get to pick your favourite fish and they have prawns as well as biriyani for rice lovers too. We ordered prawns and fish, while waiting for the food to arrive you can go around the place. Ideally it will take around 30-40 minutes for the food to arrive. Right opposite the restaurant is a great view of yachts in crystal blue water that merges with clear blue sky.

When the food arrived, we were too busy trying to fight over the portions because thats how delicious it is. We were always a seafood lover, but when you lunch here we were in love with seafood all over again. This place will fit within your budget.

If you are looking for a place to lunch out and an amazing family time, we recommend you Bu Qtair strongly.
